Prep Time10 minsCook Time20 minsTotal Time30 mins
 7 Digestive Biscuits
 80 g Anchor Butter Melted
 2 tbsp Cocoa
50 g Raisins or any other favourite fruit
 3 tbsp Honey
100 g Dark or Milk Chocolate
 5 tbsp Double Cream
1

Crumb the digestive biscuits and combine with the melted butter.

2

In the same mixture add the cocoa, raisins or any other favourite fruit. such as chopped dates, glacier cherries, figs or sultanas. Maybe a mixture of everything?

3

Time to bind it with honey. You can use dates syrup, golden syrup or treacle. Look how versatile this is.

4

Press the entire mixture onto a cling film lined, 8" sandwich tin. You can use a masher or a cup to level it all out.

5

Melt the chocolate, of your choice, milk or dark or even flavoured, with double cream. We are making ganache now.

6

Pour on top of base and chill for 2hours. Decorate with nuts or keep it plain or like me top with toasted desiccated coconut.

7

Take out the tart by lifting the cling film, take off the film and slice into 8 pieces. The recipe is very easy to follow and the tart shouldn't fall apart. Enjoy!

Hello My Hungries,

My tart is absolutely perfect for chocoholics or if like me, a tea lover who cannot resist a biscuit with a cup of tea!
The chocolate digestive is definitely one of my most loved teatime biscuit, how about you? I thought it would be great if I could create a dessert out of it and voila here it is!
My five year old has been pestering me all week to bake and so we came up with this. This ticked all the boxes for my junkie son who loves biscuits like mummy, loves chocolate like dad, loves raisins like baby and pretty much all the other ingredients too!

I love a good cheesecake but after years of teenage self indulging and feasting on cheesecake iv kinda grown out of love with it so finding other kinds of no bake tarts is something I appreciate so much more.

My instagram followers have also tried this recipe and gave it a big thumbs up. Its an easy recipe you can do on a rainy day with he children.
